About us

Claire Louise is an artist and designer based in Durham, UK. From a young age, she was immersed in arts and crafts, which sparked her creative journey. This passion led her to pursue a degree in fashion, and she graduated with First Class Honours in 2007. That same year, she was shortlisted for the SDC (Society of Dyers and Colourists) Textile & Colour Award at Graduate Fashion Week, and her hand-painted silk scarves were also shortlisted for London Fashion Week.

Claire works with a mix of mediums, including watercolours, fabrics, and machine embroidery. Her designs have found their way into the realms of greetings cards, homeware, fashion and gifts. She has previously sold her products in major retailers such as John Lewis, Fenwick, Hoopers, and large independent stores like Blackwells, Kew Gardens, Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust, Chester Zoo, and the LA Philharmonic Store, Tower Bridge among others.
